My father build a table 122 x 244 centimeters in the basement directly below the livingroom. The table doubled as dinnertable for parties and playing ping-pong. During that time no holes were drilled in the table!
For some years we continued to run TRIX EXPRESS until my father bought a danish MY-locomotive from a manufactor "Long". The new locomotive was 2-rail with DC wheels and derailed imidately at all facing points. Over a couple of years the entire layout was rebuild to Fleishmann standard.Very few pictures exist from that time.
